Snoopy Cafe

Hello Cafe Lovers! I am back with another character cafe post. This time I would like to introduce the limited time only Peanuts x Tower Records Cafe! This cafe “opened” on November 17th, 2014 and will be ended on January 12th, 2015. The menu was very limited, but the food was delicious! I think the character cafes are stepping their game up!

The Tower Records store can be found in Shibuya, just a quick walk from the train station.

Since we went in December we were greeted by a Snoopy themed Christmas tree!
Happiness is…POP! (Please tell me that I’m not the only one who read that wrong…)

Everything was Snoopy themed!

Even the elevators!

The cafe was on the 2nd floor and we were directed around the cafe to the back to stand in line.

Because it was a weekday the line was very short and we didn’t have to wait long at all.

Snoopy and Lucy! Woodstock looked a bit uncomfortable.

The very limited menu. For some reason the marshmallow cocoa couldn’t be ordered as a set.

Looks like Snoopy was here!

The inside of the cafe was really nice. They even had seats for customers dining alone.

Can you see all the Peanuts characters on the window?

We got to sit with a huge Snoopy plush! The comics were really funny!

They also offered a non-Snoopy menu, but we stuck with the theme, of course!

Chicken stewed in tomato sauce with a mini hamburger steak! The heart egg was delicious!

It was so cute it was almost a shame to eat it. Almost!

Linus with his blanket and…? Help me out! Who is the other character?

They had take out coffee in a cute Snoopy paper cup and a Snoopy CD with cover songs.

If you didn’t get enough of the Snoopy cuteness you could buy Snoopy cookies and the latte decorations that they used in the cafe. I believe the latte art can also be bought in other stores along with Rilakkuma ones as well.

Coffee to go, anyone?

Not Snoopy related, but they also sold sweet potatoes!

And of course, more merchandise!
I’m not sure why it said “Sale” because it most certainly was not on sale!

This was my first time going to the Tower Records Cafe. My honest review is that the food was very good! I would have loved it even more if there was more variety in the menu, but since it was a limited time cafe I can’t really complain. It was maybe a bit pricey for what it was, but again, as a character cafe I would say it’s an average price range. I’m definitely glad that I got the chance to visit and will look forward to their next collaboration!
