Yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to visit the Pom Pom Purin Cafe in Yokohama. I signed up for the special “Pombassador” program a while ago and have received invitations to exclusive events. You may remember the cute exhibit in Ginza I got to visit a few months ago.
60 Pombassadors gathered at the Pom Pom Purin Cafe to partake in the festivities.
The inside of the cafe was super cute!
I was very excited because it was my first time to visit the cafe in Yokohama.
Purin serving some adorable food to his friends! I love that this display is 3D!
Puring wearing marine themed clothing to go with the Yokohama theme.
Even the little chair is wearing a little sailors cap!
I would like a room filled with plushes of Purin and his friends, please!
I got to try a meal set exclusive to the Yokohama cafe. The little egg is Purin shaped!
Yokohama is known for it’s China Town, hence the ramen noodles and steamed buns.
The large Purin bun was filled with pork and vegetables.
The little Muffin steamed bun was filed with anko bean paste.
For dessert I got to try the adorable Macaron apricot seed pudding.
It came with a tart berry sauce to pour over the top.
Finally I got to try the new upcoming summer exclusive summer menu!
A mango shaved ice that looks like Pom Pom Purin!!
The event was not only full of delicious food, there was also a very fun program where we got to vote for our favorite Purin mascots and coaster designs! If you visit the Yokohama cafe in the near future you may see one of these designs! Even though it was a little nerve wracking at first, I was glad that they seated all of the Pombassadors at shared tables. It was fun talking about the newest merchandise and just being able to enjoy the experience at the cafe together.
Make sure you check out my YouTube vlog of the cafe as well as you can see Pom Pom Purin do an adorable dance and also the exclusive merchandise they sell at the cafe.
There are three Pom Pom Purin Cafes in Japan so if you live here or are visiting I would highly suggest you check one out! You can look at the menu and locations on the website. I really enjoyed the themeing at the Yokohama cafe and am excited to see what new themes they will come out with.
If you liked this post and would like to see more cuteness from Japan, please subscribe so you can see my latest posts as soon as I publish them! Your support and sweet comments mean so much to me! I appreciate it a lot! :)
